2 Chronicles 6:22; 24; 26; 28; 29; 32; 34; 36; 38 & 2 Chronicle 7:14

Precious one, Solomon after completion of the Temple dedicated it to God using the ‘IF’ clause. Prior to the use of the ‘IF’ clause Solomon made a huge sacrifice to God – 2 Chronicles 5:6 “And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who had assembled before him, were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and oxen that they could not be counted or numbered.” (ESV)

Throughout the verses given in 2 Chronicle 6; Solomon in presenting his petition to God used the ‘IF’ clause. The ‘IF’ clause is activated when you have a covenant with God through the act of giving, sacrifice. The ‘IF’ clause prayer presents an aroma of incense before God.

Example of the ‘IF’ clause in Solomon’s prayer – verse 36-39 ‘If they sin against you – for there is no one who does not sin – and you are angry with them and give them to an enemy, so that they are carried away captive to a land far or near, yet if they turn their heart in the land to which they have been carried captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captivity, saying ‘We have sinned and have acted perversely and wickedly,’ if they repent with all their mind and with all their heart in the land of their captivity to which they were carried captive, and pray toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city that you have chosen and the house that I have built for your name, then hear from heaven your dwelling place their prayer and their pleas, and maintain their cause and forgive your people who have sinned against you.’

When you have fully obeyed God’s directions and instructions, you are free to use the ‘IF’ clause in prayer. It becomes a decree, a law and abiding which is irrevocable.

God also uses the ‘IF’ clause to answer our prayers – 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by my name humble …….”

The Use of ‘IF’ clause Prayer:

1.    Have a covenant with God through your act of giving, sacrificing to God.

2.   Obey God’s directives fully.

3.   Apply the ‘IF’ clause. It becomes an abiding decree.

1.    Pray as you are led by the Spirit of God on the above subject.

God bless you. Give your life to Jesus Christ. Contact me for further discussions. Happy holiday.

Text: Isaiah 62:1-4

NB: New Name means there was an Old Name and New Beginning means there was an End.

From the Scripture reference, verse 4, the land was called: a. The Forsaken City or The Desolate Land.

Examples of these situations are: forsaken name, barrenness, jobless, not married, unemployed, failures in life, disappointment etc.

Three (3) Factors can lead to such situation:

1. By one's own sins, behaviour, conduct, attitude - 2 Chronicles 29:6; Jeremiah 9:12-16; 2 Chronicles 24:18

Solution to this is: A TRUE REPENTANCE & PRAYER.

2. God Himself can allow that to happen to you - 1 Samuel 1:4-7; John 9:1-3; John 11: 1-4

3. The devil, Satan, powers of darkness works of the enemy - Luke 13:10-13; Luke 9:37-43.

Solution to this is: DELIVERANCE, PRAYER & FASTING.

In all the above situations, it is PRAYER. Isaiah 62:10 says "I will not stop praying - consistent prayer. Prayer changes situation. With these three solutions when applied and done well, you will surely experience a New Name and a New Beginning.

Remember however that every beginning of a New thing is difficult but Never give up.

Quitters Never Win and Winners Never Quit. Keep on praying and trusting Jesus.

This a summary of one of my Teachings. God bless you.

Prayer Guidelines:

1. Lord should increase your prayer life.

2. Identify any sinful nature and traits in your life and repent from it.

3. Pray for a New beginning and new name as we begin a new month - March.

Pray any other topics of interest.

As usual, I love you but Jesus loves you the best. Give your entire life to Jesus, accept and believe in Him now.
